The problem with this canoe and kayak building addiction is that you end up with more boats that you can possibly use or store. And let’s face it, if you’re going to hoard things, canoes and kayaks are imminently impractical. In the coming weeks, I’ll update this page with boats that need a new home.


Prospector canoe built with select cedar. No staples were used in the construction; as a result, there are no hole marks along the station molds.

Ash yoke and gunwales. Ash and maple decks. Ash seats with nylon webbing. Also features bulkheads and carry handles.

Triple layer of fiberglass on the bow and stern. Three coats of Epifanes marine varnish.
